The number of products listed on the ACA Scheme has grown and now includes 49 technologies. The scheme is linked directly to SEAI’s Triple-E Product Register which is set to grow in importance due to new legislation on Green Public Procurement . Get the latest update directly from SEAI.
Green Public Procurement
According to new legislation, all public bodies must now specify and purchase products that are included on the Triple E Product Register. SEAI aims to make public procurement a key driver in the adoption of energy efficient products in both the public and private sector.
Inspection of AC Systems under EPBD
In light of the recast of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, SEAI has signaled that any plans to introduce a mandatory inspection regime are likely to be abandoned in favour of an informational campaign promoting maintenance and inspection of AC systems.
Fgas Company Certification
In recent months, many RAC companies have achieved FGR certification. There are now 180+ companies listed. But there is still a long way to go. Find out more about the efforts of FGR to inform RAC contractors and RAC end-users of their legal responsibilities under Fgas legislation.
SPEAKERS
Chris Hughes, Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland
Dave Killalea, FGas Registration Limited (FGR)
ADVANCE REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Attendance is free of charge. To register for the event email Colin Huggett at info@instituteofrefrigerationireland.ie
