In the Autumn 2010 edition of the IRI newsletter, we reported that there had been a 124% increase in the number of companies that had submitted Prior Annual Notification to the EPA over the previous 12 month
There has been a further 11% increase over the last four months bringing the total number of companies listed in February 2011 to one hundred and twelve.
The next step for the companies listed is to make sure that they also have FGas Company Certification in place. This is a separate legal requirement—there is no direct link between the two registers or registration bodies. That said, there is an obvious mismatch between the two lists, a fact that won’t go unnoticed by the EPA inspectorate.
