IRI Energy and Environmental Award
For Companies who show a track record of reducing their environmental impact and gaining significant energy savings.
This category will focus on innovation and practice that reduces environmental impact in the RAC sector and is open to everyone in the supply chain, from manufacturers to end users. Submissions can be for companies, products and projects.
The entry can be for a single project or for a wider strategy, but the results must be tangible and the impact significant.
IRI Product Innovation Award
Awarded to a Manufacturer or Company that has developed an Innovative product for the HVAC/HP Industry.
This category will focus on newly developed products released on the Irish market. In this category the judges are looking for a product with demonstrable positive outcomes in some or all of the following:
- More efficient use of materials / resources
- Reduced environmental impact
- Staff welfare / wellness in the workplace
- Energy savings through optimisation / in accordance with eco-design directives
The award is open to all manufacturers, contractors and distributors.
IRI Contribution to Industry Award
For Individuals who have promoted and supported the RAC/HP Industry
This category will be awarded to an individual working or having worked in the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning industry in Ireland.
The award is open to all members of the IRI who have reached a level of proficiency in the Irish RAC/HP industry, and/or who have substantially contributed to the industry, and/or who have promoted the advancement of best practices and engineering standards.
IRI Training Award
For companies who have excelled in the provision of training for their staff and customers.
This category will focus on training provided to staff and customers.
The award is open to all manufacturers, distributors and installers within the RAC and HP industry.
The award will focus on the quality of the training provided and the measured impact.
IRI Project Innovation Award
For Companies or Individuals who have contributed most to new technologies and ideas applied to the RAC and HP industry applications environment.
This category will focus on the delivery of innovative projects / installations / systems / solutions. The award is open to manufacturers, contractors, consultants, distributors and installers.
The results must be tangible and the impact significant
IRI Apprentice of the Year Award
For apprentices who have excelled in their final SOLAS assessments in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
This category will be awarded to an apprentice or recently qualified technician working in the HVAC&HP industry in Ireland.
The award is based on the apprentice’s SOLAS practical and written Phase 6 assessments in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. These Phase 6 assessments are carried out in either DIT or CIT.
CANDIDATES WILL BE NOMINATED BY THEIR LECTURERS.
