CPD Guidelines 2017
IRI members who wish to progress their membership status within the IRI are required to participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and the IRI currently recommends that members should obtain 30 hours of CPD on an annual basis.
There are many ways in which members can earn CPD hours, including attending training courses and seminars, mentoring employees and apprentices, and reading industry publications.
The IRI recommends that members should obtain CPD hours under the following activities and provide guidance on maximum hours to be obtained under each. This guidance can be used to help you complete your CPD record sheet.
Notes: Please keep copies of CPD record cards and all supporting evidence. The maximum number of hours that can be claimed for CPD purposes is 7 hours for a full day and 3.5 hours for a half day.
