In view of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and its effects on the global economy, NürnbergMesse has decided in agreement with the Exhibition Advisory Board not to hold Chillventa this year.
Although a digital event is certainly no substitute for personal interaction, we are working at full speed to hold parts of Chillventa 2020, such as the Chillventa CONGRESS, the trade forums and the product presentations, virtually. You should therefore continue to reserve time for this year’s dates.
We know that you, our customers, are also facing uncertain times. Investment confidence is low, sales are down, and manufacturing has come to a standstill in some areas. Moreover, the restrictions placed on business activity by governmental orders, as well as the international travel restrictions, have made it hard for you to plan and prepare for your participation and that of your customers.
Our goal of making Chillventa a special experience for exhibitors and visitors and promoting the development and expansion of international business relationships is therefore unfortunately not possible due to the impact of the coronavirus crisis.
We would like to thank you most sincerely for the many candid and constructive conversations we have had with you in the last few days and for your feedback in our survey. You helped us reach this decision.
For the moment, we must all focus on coping with the economic fallout of the coronavirus pandemic. In 2022, Chillventa can be the central business platform for the refrigeration, air-conditioning, ventilation and heat pump industry again in an economically stronger environment.
The next regularly scheduled Chillventa will be held from 11 to 13 October 2022. The Chillventa CONGRESS will begin a day earlier, on 10 October.
