Graeme Fox – Scotsman, RAC Contractor, and President of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration European Association (AREA) – has agreed to be the guest speaker at our upcoming industry briefing which forms part of this year’s Annual General Meeting.
Graeme took up the AREA Presidency last year. Prior to this, he served as chairman of its Technical and Environment Committee for six years and also served as chairman of the F Gas Review Committee. He was chairman of the HVCA’s RAC Group from 2005 to 2008, and spent four years on the HVCA Council. He has been a member of the Technical Committee of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Industry Board since 2006.
He is also Managing Director of refrigeration and air conditioning contractor Specialist Mechanical Services, based in Dundee.
We have asked him to present on the topic “The Future for RAC Contractors in Europe – a European (and Scottish) Perspective” and to participate in a panel discussion followed by a Q&A session directly afterwards.
It’s a great opportunity for IRI members to gain a direct insight into the role of AREA in Europe and also for Graeme to gain an understanding of the hopes and concerns of Irish RAC contractors first hand.
