New Fgas Company Certification Scheme for Ireland

In November 2010, The Institute of Refrigeration Ireland and Refrigeration Skillnet commenced a series of information seminars around the country to present details of a new joint initiative – the establishment of an industry-led Fgas Company Certification Scheme for Ireland.
The new body, to be known as FGR (FGas Registration), has been established to comply with the requirements of the FGas Regulations to put in place a Company Certification scheme. Both companies and personnel involved in the installation and servicing of equipment containing Fgases must be certified.
F Gas Registration Ltd (FGR) has been established as a joint initiative of The Institute of Refrigeration Ireland and Refrigeration Skillnet.
Detailed information is being made available at a series of information seminars taking place countrywide throughout November and December 2010 and will soon be available on the FGR website at www.fgasregistration.ie
